Carlos Manchado

Carlos is the Security, Compliance & Identity Lead at Microsoft Spain.

During his previous stage before joining Microsoft, he worked at Naturgy where he was Global Corporate Chief Information Security Officer.

He held this position for more than 3 years and supervised Offensive Cybersecurity, Blue Team (SOC, threat hunting, monitoring, and incident response), Security Architecture, Security in Project, cyber training & awareness and GRC.

Carlos has large experience in Cybersecurity, Technological Risk and Business Continuity & Resilience.

He acquired his experience working in large consulting firms like EY, Accenture and Deloitte, where he was also Deputy CISO for the Spanish Member Firm.

Additionally, he is Associate Professor at ICAI – Comillas University since 2020, teaching a class on Secure Software Development Lifecycle for their Cybersecurity Master students.
